Limbing at 150 feet.

Today Skyler limbed several massive fir. There were dead limbs high up on the trunk. Judging by the length of the climb lines we used, Skyler was about 150 feet in the air. In my opinion, the challenging part of a job like this is getting the initial "Big shot" beanbag over the limb in order to put a climb line in. Skyler is better at it than I am but I'm improving.


Here is a timelapse I captured of Skyler scaling one of the firs after installing a climb line.



Since the site was located on a steep hill, I was at the same height as Skyler:
